The Revd Clare Sykes
Clare Sykes took up her appointment as the Rector of the Osney Benefice in July 2012. The Benefice includes the parishes of St Frideswide, Osney with St Margaret, Binsey and St Lawrence, North Hinksey with SS Peter and Paul, Botley. Clare was previously working in the small market town of Bromyard in Herefordshire as an Associate Minister, and was also Rural Dean of Bromyard. Clare is married to Graham and they have two daughters.
The Revd Professor Martin Henig
Martin Henig has long been resident in West Oxford. He trained for the Ministry at St Stephen’s House, Oxford, was ordained deacon in 2010 and priested on 25 June 2011. For most of his adult life he has been an archaeologist, researching and lecturing in Oxford University mainly upon Roman art, culture and religion. He has written and edited a number of books amongst which is a book on Binsey, which is part of our benefice: "Binsey: Oxford's Holy Place. Its saint, village, and people" (edited by Lydia Carr, Russell Dewhurst, and Martin Henig, Archaeopress 2014). He sees his priestly ministry as a culmination of his vocation as a teacher and scholar.
Martin, a professed member of the Franciscan third order, is passionate about animals, and a firm belief in the integrity of all Creation has always been central to his vocation. He is Vice President of the Anglican Society for the Welfare of Animals, a Fellow of the Centre for Animal Ethics, a founder member of Voice for Ethical Research in Oxford.
The Revd Jo Moffett-Levy
Jo Moffett-Levy came to St Frideswide’s as an associate priest in 2015. She lives in Botley and worked for about 30 years in health research in Oxford and London before returning to university in 2008 to study Theology. She trained for the ministry at St Stephen’s House in Cowley Road, and went on to be curate at the church of St Michael at the North Gate in the centre of Oxford. She comes from Scotland and now makes regular visits there to see her mother. She is married to David Levy and they have a son and a daughter. For the last 20 years she has been involved in projects with refugees in Oxford.

Kate is a Mission Priest for the parish of St. Frideswide.
