Regrettably we have decided that the monthly cake stall and pop up cake which were held in the Church car park and inside the Church is to end. It was a difficult decision as we hoped that the cake stall could ride out the West Way effect.
We are having a dangerous tree removed from the corner of our churchyard close to the bridge and the pavement. This is because of a deep split in the trunk, and is being done on the advice of the City Tree Officer. This work will be carried out just after New Year.
The churches of St. Peter & St Paul, St. Lawrence, and St Frideswide are asking for donations of socks, pants, scarves, gloves, hats and chocolates for the homeless this Christmas. Bring your gifts to church by December 10th and we will get them delivered to the Gatehouse
After a huge amount of work and patience from everyone on the North Hinksey with Botley Parochial Church Council we are now a registered charity, established for charitable purposes only for the public benefit. Our Charity Registration Number is 115652
The Oxford Winter Night Shelter is a project being run by Oxford churches to offer emergency night shelter accomodation for the homeless in Oxford this winter. It is being run over several nights a week, from January 2018 to March. Volunteers are needed to help make this happen.
We are very sorry to announce that due to a number of unforseen circumstances the Cultivate Veg Van will no longer be stopping outside S. Peter & St. Paul on Saturdays.
